Tea Oracle readings are a dose of magical refreshment. Never static or predictive, these readings are a way to unlock and reinforce your own wisdom. Caring and affirming mentors in the cards elicits your intuitive confidence and play to your best inner voices. Trusting spontaneity, the process is able to be consistently impactful by being non-prescriptive.

The relational element alchemizes the reading into something profound and expansive, best described as developing your personal symbolic language and listening you into your own wisdom. Using gentle inquiry, together you navigate the inner terrain. 

You'll Be Asked to Use Your Imagination

The Tea Oracle reading asks you to engage your imagination. If you are one who considers imagination a familiar realm and a helpful tool, you’ll be like a fish to water. On the other hand, if you are not accustomed to being resourced by your imagination, this may be even more valuable. This is not something you need to be "good at," simply come ready to participate, and allow the process unfold however it does. Entering the imaginal realm and listening for wisdom can be healing, liberating, and practical—or playful and unproductive in the most profound way. 

Questions and Themes Sourced from the Cards

When you begin a reading, you do not need to have a question in mind. The reading is set up to reveal what is needed without preconception. Many have marveled at the capacity for process to identify, illuminate, and dissolve obstacles that were hiding in the periphery of their consciousness. 

The magic is embedded in the imagery and the method. The evocative imagery of the cards help the mind parse through its own labyrinths in non-linear way. The reading incorporates dialogic and symbolic methods to open the cards to vast interpretation: a specific card with have new meanings each time it is drawn.

• At the end of the year you'll receive a record of the cards received with notes from your readings as a keepsake.

About the Tea Cartomancer, Michael Busby

As the creator of the Tea Oracle, my intimate connection with the cards allows for an easeful depth of reading. I have 15-plus years of experience traversing inner landscapes and engaging in practices of the imaginal and ritual varieties as: a teacher of Daoist Qigong and Buddhist meditation retreats, reader of western philosophy, tea-ritual addict, and a pupil of the contemplative tutelage of the natural world. As within so without, as without so within. Honoring that inner landscapes are shaped by outer forces,  I am sensitive to personal and collective histories of intersecting socio-economic, historical, and cultural dynamics at play in the external terrain. Currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy, I see Tea Oracle readings as a Daoist and Expressive Arts-inspired form of collaborative inquiry.
