A very giving Silver Needles from a wild garden in Zheng He county, Fujian. Sweet and nuanced from the very first steep. A burdock nutty woodiness underscores its pronounced sweetness to give it a more sophisticated profile that other Silver Needles teas. The energy is focused. It draws you in to the present, and it sends energy to the mudball cavity (forehead region).
Peddler's note: This tea goes a long way. Use less leaf than usual, and you'll find it is still a strong brew. I like how unusually nuanced this harvest is. It has a maturity to it. The more adolescent (straightforward) sweetness shows up in the fourth steep. All throughout, the velvety texture of the white hairs is palpable.

Reclining Rabbit
Burst of Inspiration
The rabbit reclines with all the leisure and latent power of a Mediterranean god. When puffy clouds begin to gather, the pressure shifts. At any moment, this prolific giant might rage into a ferocious storm. As lightning strikes, a flash of creativity zaps the poets and mystics in the town below, drawing them out of their ennui. Inspiration arrives in an instant.
This generative demigod of creativity invites you into sympathetic resonance with a drop of rain, a gust of wind, or a bolt of lightning. When thunder bursts into a shower, creativity breaks through writers’ blockades. Rain pours down cleansing old thoughts, releasing flowing tears in emotional catharsis, and pooling up to amass a weight of conviction behind decisions. There is momentousness in a storm, and it dissipates as quickly as it arrives. When inspiration strikes, will you be ready to answer its call? The one who dances with this muse must refill their cup before the rain clouds disperse.
