Big Red Robe

Big Red Robe, Da Hong Pao, is a dark roast rock tea blend from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian. This tea has 5 varietals mixed together to compliment each other. Until this year, I hadn't found a Big Red Robe that I wanted the carry. This one is focused, fiery, nuanced, and well-balanced. Its distinct tamarind flavor and full body are very satisfying, and the energy is rooting and stable.
