Alishan Dreaming

Alishan is the most well-known of all the High Mountain Oolongs of Taiwan. This particular Alishan showcases an elegant crystalline structure. From a hidden gem of a pesticide-free garden, this tea leads you into an elegant gentle vista. The energy is very soothing, kind on the nerves, and features a creaminess due to its high L-theanine content (the relaxing amino acid). A superb high mountain oolong.

This season's harvest has an interesting profile featuring a aromas like a fruit-laden chèvre. The flavor palate has no bitterness or astringency to be found.

Peddler's Note: The energy is so relaxed. I highly recommend it for those who are sensitive to tea-jitters. For those of you who like a strong energizing cup, I recommend this as a midday or afternoon tea. I find myself turning to it again and again—trusting in its gentle nourishment.
